The much more anticipated Sophia Electric brand-new production of 2A3 is here. It has more plate dissipation power than a typical RCA 2A3 kind of 2A3 tube (like Sophia Electric’s mesh plate 2A3 tube), which means you may have a little more power and dynamics in sound if your amplifier can drive the tube a little harder than RCA 2A3 would allow. It will have more upgraded sound in replacing both RCA 2A3-like tubes and the newer production 2A3 tubes started in late 1990’s.
