User Experience with Sophia Electric Prodigy Amplifier

I paired the Sophia Electric Prodigy amplifier with a set of front-ported Omega Super 3i speakers and a Linn Komponent 120 bass extender, sourced by a Marantz ND8006 streaming Amazon Music. The results are nothing short of lifelike; the midrange is palpable and truly 'in the room.' The low end is solid and beautifully textured without ever becoming overbearing.

Even in a nearfield setup, the soundstage is remarkably deep, allowing the speakers to completely disappear. There is a wonderful sense of air and 'blackness' between the notes. Despite the high sensitivity of the Omegas, the Prodigy remains dead silent. Additionally, the 6V6 architecture makes tube rolling both accessible and affordable. After extensive listening, I’ve found only positives—it is a stellar performer.
