User Feedback for Sophia Electric™ KT88 Stereo Amplifier

This amp I have found to be very special.
Why? Because I have never heard a tube amp so harmonically correct and at the same time so resolute (without being bright). How resolute? It is the most resolute amp I have heard.
Considering I have owned over a dozen "State-of-the-Art Tube Amps" in the $10,000 to $40,000 price range and have never been so impressed.
I feel that a significant part of the reason for the magic of this amplifier is the extremely low noise floor and low distortion. I mean this amp is DEAD QUIET. The background is Jet Black.
Now this piece is only 50 watts, but it is a solid 50 watts. If your speaker is not overly inefficient, this amp is for you.
I know you will be pleased. This is not just a great amp for $3750, it is State of the Art.
If you need more power and have more money to spend, buy the mono-blocks. I have one pair of the Mono-block version on order and got the loaned stereo unit to play with before the mono-block to be made. I will report in detail over the next few weeks.
