Sophia Electric 6SN7 tubes in ST glass are one league ahead of the 99%(if not all) vintage 6SN7/VT231/5692 red base/CV181 family tubes. Out of hundreds of pairs sold since July, 2009, only one buyer said that couldn’t be used in his Alma Serpher Amplifier(OTL), another buyer was not sure if it was better or worse (neutral). The rest reports have been very positive that Sophia Electric 6SN7 tubes are much better than the tubes were replaced including the vintage RCA/Sylvania tubes.
Sophia Electric is offering 10 days return policy for both Grade A and B 6SN7/6SL7 tubes if you don’t like the tubes.
Note: Ten days return policy from the date of shipping out from Sophia Electric to a US address. 3 weeks return policy for a European address. Buyer pays shipping cost round trip and credit card fees (3% US purchase, 5% Canadian and European purchase) when refund is needed.
